Grassroots Soccer
Rec soccer is the heart and soul of our club and community and is important to the growth and development of players on and off the field.
Our Rec Program is for players U4-U12.
Important Dates:
January 25 - U14 review and discussion
January 31 – Registration closes
February 3 - Parents meeting (Time & location TBD)
February 5 - 1st Coach Meeting (Time & location TBD)
February 7 - U8–U12 Evaluations/Drafts – Smiths Station Sports Complex (3160 Lamb Rd Smiths Station, AL 36877) Time TBD
February 12 - 2nd coaches meeting – (Time & location TBD)
Week of February 23 - Practice start – Days and Times TBD (set by each coach)
March 21 - Opening ceremonies & games – Times TBD
End-of-season celebration – Date TBD
May 16 - Presidents Cup Finals
Note: All dates are subject to change.
Age divisions are split by birth year and are as follows. Prices are listed after birthdates:
U4 - 01/01/2022 – 12/31/2023 - $75
U6 - 01/01/2020 – 12/31/2021 - $75
U8 - 01/01/2018 – 12/31/2019 - $90
U10 - 01/01/2016 – 12/31/2017 - $100
U12 - 01/01/2014 – 12/31/2015 - $100
U14 - 01/01/2012 – 12/31/2013 - $100
Families who register more than one player will receive a $5 credit for each additional family member.
What to Expect
Practice Frequency:
U4: 1 day per week
U6: 1–2 days per week
U8–U12: 1-2 days per week
Games: Primarily on Saturdays, with occasional weekday games
Volunteering: Parents may be asked to assist with special events or concessions throughout the season
What’s Included in Your Registration Fee:
City and state association fees
Home and away jerseys
Certified Officials and Officials in training
Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued once the season begins (defined as the start of practices) without board approval.
If the season is canceled before fees are paid or jerseys are ordered, a full refund will be issued.
Once fees are paid and jerseys are ordered, no refunds will be given.
